Usage guidelines and document compatibility for PDFCano.

Use documents you are allowed to process

You retain your rights in your documents. Use PDFCano only for files you own or have permission to modify. Do not use the tools to misrepresent a document's source, authorship or authenticity.

Keep the original and check the result

Keep an unchanged copy of every original. Check page order, layout, text, images and page dimensions before relying on a result. Image exports are raster images, and images converted to PDF do not gain searchable text. A watermark or page number is a visual addition, not a digital signature or proof of authenticity.

Compatibility limits

This first release does not support encrypted PDFs, interactive forms or digitally signed documents. Do not use it to preserve, verify or create digital signatures: changing a signed document can invalidate its signature. Copying pages into a new document may not preserve bookmarks, document-level navigation or links between pages. Some damaged files, unusual fonts or advanced PDF features may fail or render differently. Signature detection cannot establish a document's authenticity.

Device limits and cancellation

Large or complex files can exceed browser memory or take longer to process. Cancel an operation if necessary, and use smaller files when a device cannot complete a job. The tools are provided as available, without a promise that every PDF or device will work correctly.

Third-party libraries are governed by their own licenses. These usage notes do not replace any rights you have under applicable law.
